This classic design is patterned after traditional military doublets and is made from the finest of materials. The coat is trimmed in gold with scroll work braids at the collar, sleeves and on the shoulders. with golden buttons at front add to the elegance and style of doublet.

The Red Highland Drummer Doublet jacket is a made to measure Scottish design crafted with traditional methods by hand. When you order, you can specify any size. The doublet is best worn with a tartan kilt, knee-high socks and Ghillie brogues.

Measurement Note:
When measuring for your jacket and waistcoat please allow at least 1″ or 2″ give for comfort and movement. For example if you measure as a snug 38″ chest order a 40″ jacket. The additional size will allow for comfortable body movement when wearing the jacket and waistcoat. Ensure your measurements are accurate re-measure at least twice! If possible get a tailor or seamstress to measure you up.
